The Management Aptitude Test (MAT) evaluates critical thinking skills relevant to management positions. This includes the ability to analyze and solve situational problems, monitor a budget, supervise, and communicate effectively with others.

During the Manager Aptitude Test, candidates are asked to make decisions in reference to representative situations in order to evaluate their critical thinking ability and business knowledge against established norms for their industries. The final report provides a graphic depiction of the applicant’s scores and an overall estimate of their managerial potential. It measures: Administrative Skill, Business Control, Communication, Planning/Organizing, Problem Solving, Supervisory Skills, and Manager Potential.

Validation studies for the MAT have been conducted in a variety of settings, including healthcare and advertising, and are available upon request.
