The Retail Management Assessment Inventory (RMAI®) helps provide a standardized measure of potential for success in retail management. It is useful for selecting dealers, unit managers, assistant managers, and franchisee applicants. The RMAI helps evaluate an individual’s interest in, motivation toward, and knowledge of retail management, and may be used for selection, coaching and assessing needs for training. Norms are based upon managerial job applicants from organizations in the retail sector.
Validation studies have been conducted in different settings and are available upon request. The RMAI report includes individual scale scores, Significant Behavioral Indicators and follow-up interview questions. The RMAI measures: Candidness, Accuracy, Background and Work, Management/Leader Interest, Management Responsibility, Customer Service, Energy Level, Management Orientation, Managerial Arithmetic, Management Procedures/Practices, Business Ethics, Job Stability and Overall Management Potential.
