Integrated Performance Management (IPM) is an innovative management reporting system that provides information about each employee for the purpose of leveraging their talents. It stimulates performance by managing the preferences, motivations, skills and competencies of each employee to stimulate and monitor their contributions. Organizational success begins with aligning and directing the individual’s talents toward the organizational goals. Individual progress toward goals is reported on a daily basis. Integrated performance management facilitates the manager-employee communications that are essential for mutual understanding, transparency, and goal attainment.
IPM is implemented through the following three steps:
Set corporate goals focused on the company’s vision, mission, and core values
Keeping the vision and core values in mind, develop operating objectives and individual performance targets that include key performance metrics
Monitor manager/employee communications and measure progress toward goals through metrics
