Quality Healthcare Employee Inventory
Pricing

The Quality Healthcare Employee Inventory (QHEI) assessment was developed specifically for the
unique hiring needs of the healthcare industry. Appropriate for many positions, it helps identify
applicants who are likely to demonstrate courtesy, responsiveness and concern toward patients,
co-workers, and others. Your organization competes on the quality of its care. You're competing
for the job applicants who will effectively deliver and support that care.  The QHEI helps you hire
individuals who exhibit favorable attitudes toward training, customer service, adaptability, tenure,
and safety.

The QHEI can be used for the following positions:

Key Features

  • Healthcare Service Index
A composite score that helps provide a quick overview of an applicant's overall customer
    service orientation.
  • Healthcare-specific Norms
An applicant's performance will be measured against norms developed by Pearson Reid
London House for the healthcare industry.
  • Covers virtually all healthcare employees
Applicable for all skilled positions requiring direct patient or client contact in hospitals, clinics,
long-term care facilities, home healthcare agencies and physicians' offices. In addition, the
QHEI assessment requires approximately 40 minutes to complete and is available in both
    English and Spanish.

The QHEI helps you measure:

Interpersonal Cooperation The tendency to be courteous, cooperative, friendly and attentive toward patients, co-workers and others encountered in a healthcare environment.
Service Attitude Sensitivity to the needs of patients and other individuals, as well as an awareness of employee behavior's impact on patient and customer satisfaction.
Service Aptitude The extent to which the individual understands the basic concepts and strategies related to effectively responding to the difficult situations encountered providing service in a healthcare environment.
Healthcare Service Index A composite score based on Interpersonal Cooperation, Service Attitude and Service Aptitude. Indicates the applicant's overall capability for healthcare service.
Healthcare Values The tendency to exhibit conscientious attitudes and behavior that promote the quality of patient care and service.
Safety The extent to which an individual takes responsibility for job safety and accident prevention.
Adaptability The tendency to accept change and other challenges with a positive attitude and with a willingness to learn new ways to accomplish work activities and objectives.
Tenure The extent to which an individual values organizational loyalty and commitment.
Training Readiness The desire to learn on the job as well as overall trainability.
Validity/Accuracy Helps determine if the applicant understood the inventory and carefully completed it.
Validity/Candidness Helps identify applicants who completed the inventory with an extreme tendency to exaggerate positive qualities and minimize negative ones.
Employability Index A composite score that provides a quick reference to the applicant's general suitability for hire.
