The Applicant Productivity Profile (APP) may be used to help screen applicants with limited reading abilities for low-skill positions. The assessment is designed to help measure attitudes toward theft and drug use, as well as interpersonal relations and other attitudes that may affect workplace productivity. The APP assessment may be administered to applicants who can read at a minimum 5 th grade reading level. Available in English and Spanish.
| Honesty | The likelihood that the individual will not steal cash and merchandise from work. |
| Drug Avoidance | The likelihood that the applicant will not use or sell illicit drugs on the job. |
| Employee/ Customer Relations |
An applicant’s tendencies for being courteous and cooperative with customers and coworkers. |
| Work Values | An applicant’s attitude toward work and productive on-the-job habits. |
| Supervision Attitudes | The likelihood that an applicant will do the work assigned and respond appropriately to supervision. |
| Tenure | The likelihood that an applicant will not leave the organization prematurely |
| Reading Ease | Whether an individual had trouble reading or understanding the assessment |
| Validity/Candidness | The extent to which the applicant responds to the inventory in a socially desirable manner. |
| Validity/Accuracy | The degree to which an applicant understood and carefully completed the inventory. |
| Employability Index | A composite score that provides a quick assessment of the applicant’s overall suitability for hire |
